Party Poker Steps (Sit and Go)

A six steps Sit’n'Go Tournament. Step one has a buy-in of $3. The winner can enter the next step that has a higher buy-in  until you reaching the final step that has a buy-in of $500 – and a first prize of $2000. It’s quite a journey but it may pay off very well for someone with a modest bankroll, a great deal of patience and skills or perhaps some luck.

Time-based Sit’n'Go

These single table tournaments are ending after a certain time as opposed to when a player has won all the other player’s chips. The prize pool is split between the top three players. Typical time limits ranges from 15 to 60 minutes. When a tenth of the time remains, the time to act is lowered in order to escalate the action. There are two variations, one that ends at the fixed time and another that may end any time up to 10% earlier.
